Children traveling alone
Children aged between 5 and 16 can travel alone on Marabu flights. To arrange solo travel for children, they must be registered at our Service Centre under +49 (0) 6171-69889-50 at least 48 hours before departure. Depending on their age, accompanying service fees may be mandatory or optional.
For more details, please refer to our "Unaccompanied Minor" form, which should be printed, filled out, and submitted to our check-in staff.
Preparation
Travel is an adventure – we want to ensure your child has a safe and comfortable journey with Marabu. Book the service through our service center, fill out the unaccompanied minor form (you can find it above), print it, and familiarize your child with the flight procedures. We're looking forward to our flight together!
Departure
During check-in, our team will collect the completed form. Your child will receive a small bag to store all essential documents. Now it's time to say goodbye – our team will accompany your child through the security control to the aircraft. Please remain at the airport until the aircraft has departed.
Onboard our aircraft
Our English-speaking crew takes care of our little solo travelers with warmth. A small snack and a beverage of their choice make the onboard experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, we provide complimentary entertainment through personal devices, including a wide selection of children's movies and series. You'll find the QR code for this in the onboard magazine, ensuring endless fun and joy throughout our flight.
Arrival
The person picking up should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival time of the flight and bring a photo ID. Once the aircraft has landed, our ground staff will welcome your child and accompany them to the person picking them up.
