Checked Baggage

General Information

Important documents, valuables, and medications should always be carried in your hand luggage.

• The total outer dimensions of each checked baggage item must not exceed 158 cm (length + width + height). If the specified dimensions or the booked baggage allowance are exceeded, excess and/or oversized baggage fees will apply. Any additional baggage can be checked in along with your regular luggage.
• Strollers, buggies, baby beds, and car seats can be transported free of charge in the aircraft’s hold. This excludes special types such as jogging strollers or bicycle trailers. A maximum of two of the listed items may be transported per child. No prior registration is required.
• Please note: For safety and occupational health reasons, each checked baggage item must not exceed a maximum weight of 32 kg—regardless of your booked baggage allowance. This limit is in accordance with international aviation regulations.

Transport of Sporting and Hunting Firearms

If you plan to travel with sporting or hunting firearms and related ammunition, approval is required before your flight.

To obtain this approval, please complete the form linked below and submit it to [email protected] at least 72 hours prior to departure.

Please note that the carriage of firearms is strictly subject to the legal requirements and restrictions of all countries involved in your journey. Marabu Airlines can only transport weapons and ammunition once all necessary permits and approvals have been granted.
